These terms and conditions regulate the business relationship between you and us. By using Our Website in any way, or by buying from us, you agree to be bound by them.
Making a Purchase
We have tried to make your experience shopping with SmartBedz as user friendly as possible.
Having selected the items you want to purchase you will be asked to either log in to your account or register before confirming your order. After placing the order you will be sent an acknowledgment of order automatically and our contract is made when we take payment. We will send you a dispatch confirmation email to say that we have dispatched that product to you. A full invoice for the goods purchased and delivery will be made available in the My Account section of the website.
We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards through our mechant account with PayPal. Cheques may be accepted using the Print and Post option in the shop checkout and goods will be sent out once we have cleared funds.
Price and Payment
We endeavor to keep our website and catalogue prices updated and accurate but it is possible that the price may have increased from that published. If that happens, we will not send your order until you have confirmed that you wish to order at the new price.

Credit Card Security
All on line card payments are handled by PayPal so you can be assured of the security of your financial details. The website uses 168 bit encryption software (the highest level commercially available) allowing you to order in the confidence that your personal details are being transmitted at the highest level of security. On ordering you may experience a short delay as our website connects to our secure server - we hope you will agree that this is a small price to pay to ensure secure ordering.
Postage and Packing
All our orders are delivered by courier during normal working hours (Mon-Fri) and you must ensure that someone is present to accept delivery.
England, Wales and parts of Scotland (excluding Highlands and Islands see below)
Plastic litter scoops will cost £0.95 per item when ordered alone. Delivery of these is free with an order of at least one bag of SmartBedz. Costs for delivering SmartBedz in these areas are as follows:
For orders up to 25Kg the delivery cost will be £7.99

For the areas below charges will be the same as above plus the extra levy as detailed below:
Scottish Highlands and Islands - £11.20 per order
Northern Ireland - £10.46 per order
Isle of Man & Scilly Isles - £15.00 per order
Channel Islands - £43.00 per order.

Delivery Schedule
Providing we are not out of stock we will normally send your order to you in 2/3 business days, however, deliveries to more remote places may take considerably longer.
If no one is in to accept the delivery a notice of attempted delivery will be left at the delivery address inviting you to phone and arrange redelivery. A further attempt to deliver will be made at no extra charge. Any shipment which cannot be delivered on the second attempt will be returned to the nearest FedEx facility or local Post Office and an attempt made to notify the recipient.
Should you request your parcel be left in a safe place then this will be at your risk.
Deliveries to multiples addresses
Unfortunately we cannot currently support multiple delivery addresses per order
Collecting your order
Currently it is not possible for you to collect an order made on line
Guarantee
At SmartBedz we take pride in the quality of our products and service. We want all our customers to be entirely satisfied with their purchase. If, however, you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase you can return it to us within 7 days for refund or replacement. See our returns policy for details.
Returns Policy
If you are returning goods because they are faulty or because of an order error on our part we will give you a full refund including carriage costs.
If the product is what you ordered and you wish to return it then this must be done within 7 days of receipt of order - in this instance you will be responsible for the carriage.
If your package arrives damaged please phone us immediately on 01473 356134 - this must also be reported to the carrier at time of delivery. We cannot offer a refund unless these procedures have been followed.
If you have ordered the product by mistake it may be possible to cancel the order before it is shipped, however, failing that you will be responsible for the return postage.
Refunds will normally be issued using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. We will process your refund as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days of when we inform you you are entitled to a refund.
If you wish to return goods please state the reason.
Consumer rights
If you are contracting as a consumer you may cancel any contract with us within 28 days beginning on the day after you receive the goods. In this case you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the goods in accordance with our Returns Policy above.
Privacy Policy
SmartBedz will not disclose buyer's information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment. In this case the third party will not disclose any of the information to any other third party. Cookies are used on the site to keep track of the contents of the shopping cart and to store your contact and address details to save time when you login to your account in the future. Data collected by this site is used to:
Take and fulfill customer orders
Administer and enhance the site and services
Issue a unique identifier (e.g. customer login)
Monitor customer account status beyond that required for a single purchase
Only disclose information to third parties for goods delivery purposes.

These terms and conditions and the relationship between you and SmartBedz shall be governed and construed in accordance with the Law of England and Wales.

Users should be aware that they use this website and its contents at their own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by the law SmartBedz accepts no liability for any direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or otherwise, including any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of this website or any of the information contained therein.
Miscellaneous provisions
When we communicate with you we do so by email. You agree that email communications are contractually binding in the same way as properly signed and dated paper sent by post.
Product images and descriptions on this website are for guidance only and may be changed without notice at our discretion.
We may change these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to you are those posted here on our Website on the day you order Goods.
Ownership of the products will only pass to you when we receive full payment for all sums due in respect of the goods including delivery charges.
